Use your administration and people skills to gain some great experience in mission!
We are looking for a Short Term Mission Assistant to help run Latin Link’s well-established short term mission programmes. This includes Step (hands-on experience of mission in teams for 2-16 weeks) and Stride (tailor-made placements for individuals, couples and families for 6-24 months). This maternity cover role is part time (28 hours per week) and expected to be for around 12 months.
Working with the Short Term Mission Coordinator, you will administer all enquires and applications and be involved in recruiting and supporting volunteers before, during and after their time abroad. You’ll have excellent relational, communication and time management skills, be a proficient organiser, show initiative and flexibility, and have the confidence to turn your hand to new things. You’ll be confident in speaking in front of groups of people and you’ll also ideally have personal experience of mission abroad.
