Ian Darke and his wife, Brenda, originally worked
with students in Latin America but Ian has diversified into publishing.
He is the Coordinator of Letra Viva (Living Letter), a network
of over 40 Spanish language publishing ministries whose members
work together to share resources across national boundaries.
In 2003 Ian was appointed part-time training
consultant with Media Associates International (MAI), a ministry
committed to encouraging Christian writers, editors and publishers
in the ‘majority world.’
Ian comments, ‘A thread running through our ministry
since we worked with students is a passion to see biblical truth
lived out in Latin American society, among students, professionals,
families and leaders at all levels.
‘I believe passionately that relevant and
biblical Christian books, written by Latin authors, are essential
to the health and continued growth of the church in Latin America
today’.
