Local Representatives represent the local face of Latin
Link in Britain and Ireland. They are friendly, helpful
and want to get to know you! They are volunteers whose job is to raise the profile
of Latin Link, to tell people about the needs in Latin America
and the opportunities for Christian service there, and to
help people get involved by praying for and supporting Latin
Link.
Local Reps generally have one of four main
roles:
Events Reps - make Latin Link known in their local area
by representing Latin Link at events, presenting to local churches,
helping at our conferences, etc.
Uni Reps - represent Latin Link at
their college or university,
getting Latin America on the missions agenda and encouraging others to
go or supporting those who have come back
Church Reps - help their own church to
be involved in Latin Mission by supporting Latin Link
Prayer Group Leaders - run a group who meet
to pray for Latin America and Latin Link members, keeping the group
updated with news and prayer requests
If you would like to get in touch with a
Local Rep in your area, or find out if there is a prayer
group near you, please contact us by email at communications.uk@latinlink.org,
or by telephone on 0118 957 7100
If you've a passion to see others develop
a passion for what God is doing in Latin America,
why not join the volunteer Network yourself? Being a Local
Rep is
a fantastic opportunity to use your experiences and gifts
to serve God and the Latin American church while you're
living on this side of the world! It needn't be a big time
commitment, and what you end up doing depends upon your own
interests, opportunities and availability. You may be able
to use skills you can't use in your full-time occupation,
and it gives you the chance to be an active, vital part of Latin Link.

Contact us by email at communications.uk@latinlink.org,
or by telephone on 0118 957 7100 for more information and to
find out how to join the Network.
