Tax Efficient Giving - Gift Aid |
If you pay UK Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax, Gift Aid allows you to increase the value of your gift to Latin Link at no cost to yourself. Provided you have paid or will pay sufficient Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the same tax year you make your gift, Latin Link can reclaim this to increase the value of your gift by 25 per cent. If you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can reclaim the difference between the basic rate and higher rate tax on your tax return. Your employer or pension payer may offer a Payroll Giving Scheme. This will enable you to make regular gifts to Latin Link by deduction from your salary or pension. You will receive all the tax credit. The agency charity (not Latin Link) handling
