What is Latin Link?

Latin Link is an international community serving local churches throughout Latin America. Our passion is to live, teach and promote biblical Christianity, help meet identified needs, and develop short and long term mission initiatives to, from, and within the region.

Members of Latin Link serve God in Latin America and in Europe, working with local Christians at their invitation. We have staff in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, Spain and Switzerland.

The heart of Latin Link is contained in a single Spanish word: formación. This combines the ideas of formative training, preparation and personal development leading to wholeness and wellbeing. From this central theme spring five key areas of commitment.

1.  Outreach & Evangelism with churches

2.  Training & Preparation for leadership and mission

3.  Care & Social Action to restore human dignity

4.  Publishing & Resources  to help transform lives

5.  Business & Ethics which reflect biblical principles

Latin Link offers short-term mission experience in Latin America with Step Teams, and through Stride programmes.

Latin Partners, a branch of Latin Link based in Britain, arranges short training placements for Latin Americans who want mission experience in Europe. It aims to provide a central reference point for Latin churches in Britain and Ireland.

Latin Link was formed in 1991 when the Evangelical Union of South America (EUSA) and the Regions Beyond Missionary Union (RBMU) merged to form a new agency. Today we are the largest interdenominational mission agency in Britain specialising in Latin America.

'Latin Link is about demonstrating the interdependence of the church worldwide - a sharing of resources, learning and gifts. Our mission springs from a desire to be involved with God in his work, and to bring honour to him.'
John Chapman, Founding International Director.
